For more than 100 years, our exceptional property overlooking the Berkshire Mountains, has offered an exceptional place to gather and enjoy life.
Stay active with tennis on our Har-Tru tennis courts, play a round of golf on our pristine 18-hole Tillinghast golf course, relax by the pool, have cocktails and dinner on the Patio, Veranda, or Ballroom Terrace overlooking the golf course, and enjoy the beautiful foliage of Upstate New York with our magnificent view of the Berkshire Mountains.

    • A world-class tennis experience

      Wolferts Roost features six well-maintained Har-Tru courts that are rolled each morning and groomed several times throughout the day. The courts are situated in a quiet setting, located within a few minutes’ walk from the Clubhouse or accessible by car. Our tennis professionals are available for private or group lessons of any age. Enjoy our pick up games, tournaments, and leagues.

      Our racquet staff offer an extensive array of tennis and pickleball programs including private and semi-private lessons, special events, and annual tournaments. Whether you are a novice raqueteer or an experienced player, Wolferts Roost has something to offer you!

      Relax poolside with views of our beautiful golf course. The pool snack bar offers a variety of food and beverages.

      Wolferts Roost offers an extensive aquatic program and hosts aquatic leagues and swim competitions throughout the summer season.

      One of the highlights of membership at Wolferts Roost Country Club is our food and beverage service. Executive Chef Chuck Taber has more than 30 years of experience and meticulously creates every menu item. In addition to a full bar at each venue, we offer exclusive wine lockers for our Membership.

      Wolferts Roost Country Club offers our members a variety of indoor and outdoor dining facilities from casual to fine dining.

      Main Bar

      Sports bar atmosphere. Watch your favorite golf or highlighted sports event on Direct TV while enjoying your ice-cold draft beer.

      Veranda

      Upper-level porch with outdoor bar. The Veranda overlooks the 18th fairway with numerous high-top tables to enjoy a cocktail and dinner after a round of golf.

      Patio

      Seasonal patio dining serving lunch and dinner. On cooler evenings enjoy an after-dinner drink while sitting in our Adirondack chairs around the large fire pit. We strongly suggest making reservations for this popular dining experience.

      Terrace

      Formal to casual lunch and dinner. This room boosts simple elegance with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the views of the 18ths fairway and putting green.

      Children Dining Room

      This room is just off our Terrace dining room. While separated from the main dining room, the floor to ceiling windows give the room a warm inclusive feeling. Children can enjoy watching their favorite TV program while dining on their favorite Roost fare.

      Patroon Dining

      Special event dining with custom menus from Chef Taber. From Valentine’s sweetheart dinners to themed wine pairings. Formal and fun but we will always tantalize you with our chef’s culinary talents. Jackets required.

    • School’s out. We’re in!

      Count on Wolferts Roost to provide your children with a safe and supportive summer learning environment that is focused on fun.

      We welcome children ages 4 through 13 starting from middle June through the end of August. Your children will have sensational experience that they will not forget. The summer program includes tennis, swimming, golf lessons, crafts, and other special programs.
