Membership Wolferts Roost Country Club membership has demonstrated, throughout the years, contemporary social attitudes that have enhanced the tradition of the Club since 1915. The Club maintains a very strong family focus as evidenced by a wide variety of junior and family activities. The pricing of membership fees and dues, and ancillary services reflect a commitment to value. The Club has no minimum spending requirements as our members have found our quality and value to be unsurpassed in the Capital District. Membership Incentives Resident REDUCED INITIATION FEE INCENTIVE The Initiation Fee for any Resident Application who does not qualify under any other membership program will be $1,250; $625 at application and $625 at the time of election to membership. Resident Legacy In keeping with our long standing incentive, the son, daughter, son-in-law or daughter-in-law of a member in-good-standing or who died in-good-standing may join the Club without any Initiation Fee. Past Member Incentive Any past member of Wolferts Roost Country Club who left in-good-standing may rejoin the Club without paying an Initiation Fee. Family Legacy The extended family of a member may join the Club for an Initiation Fee equivalent to one month’s dues in their respective category of membership. Other Club Incentive The member of another private club may apply the Initiation Fee of their existing club to the $5,000 Initiation Fee at Wolferts Roost Country Club. If the Initiation Fee at their existing club is less than $5,000 the applicant would pay the difference. (See Reduced Initiation Fee Incentive below if the difference is greater than $1,250.) Junior & Associate Junior Junior Legacy Any son or daughter of a member in-good-standing or who died in-good-standing may join the Club without any Initiation Fee. Associate Junior Incentive An Associate Junior applicant will pay only $500 in Initiation Fee.		Membership Categories Resident membership entitles the member to all club privileges. Privileges as prescribed by the Board of Governors are extended to the member’s spouse (if applicable) and children residing with the member under the age of 25. Associate Junior members are age 32 or younger. Associate Junior membership entitles the member to all club privileges. Privileges as prescribed by the Board of Governors are extended to the member’s spouse (if applicable) and children. Non-Resident members do not have a place of residence within 100 miles of the city of Albany. Dues & Fee Schedule Club Dues Dues are billed monthly, in advance. At the beginning of each calendar year, a member may elect to pre-pay the annual dues and receive a choice of dining room discounts or weekday golf guest passes in consideration for this prepayment.  A full schedule of initiation fees and dues is located on page 2 of the membership application.
